Paddlepalooza on the Clinton River – Saturday, May 31, 2014

Do you like the water? What about canoeing or kayaking? If you answered yes, then come on out to the Paddlepalooza on the Clinton River Saturday, May 31! This event will give paddlers the chance to compete to win prizes or just enjoy an afternoon on the water. If you are interested in racing other paddlers, you can enter either the canoe or kayak race. If you are not interested in racing but still would like to paddle, their is an adventure paddle that will occur for those less competitive but still experienced. The course is 8 miles long and stretches from Riverside Park in Auburn Hills to River Crest Banquet Center in Rochester Hills. Because of the river’s class rating, this event is reserved for experienced paddlers. Participants may bring their own canoe/kayak or rent one for the day, but their is a limited supply so if you have a canoe/kayak it would best if you bring it. The price to participate is $15 per person if you pay before May 23. After May 23 the cost is $20 per person. Get signed up today for your chance to compete and win prizes in this fun event on the water!
