Labor Day Weekend Camping Spots


Labor Day is around the corner, and we think it is time to start planning your weekend trips! If you are wanting to stay somewhat local, but still have a getaway weekend, this is the article for you. We will list some of the top camping spots in and around Auburn Hills and Midland, Michigan so you can get a jump start on making plans.


KOA: Auburn Hills/Holly

This campground is full of fun surprises. Enjoy the jumping pillow, campground train, outdoor bowling and water-blasting hay rides. There is an on-site zipline, as well. Clear Water Campgrounds

Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park

Including 67 RV lots, this park is situated on a 42-acre lake where you can enjoy water activities and fishing. Visitors can also enjoy a clubhouse, laundry facilities, walking trails and a playground. There is also an on-site waterpark, hotel pool, steam shower, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, restaurants and more. For easy access across the park, there is a complimentary shuttle service. Lake of Dreams Campground

Located in Merrill, this site provides camping for your family no matter the type of camper you are in- an RV, pop up, tent and more. Lake of Dreams is a 77 acre facility, with 253 modern campsites, a 4 acre lake with a sandy beach, swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, hayrides, fishing and lot’s of trails to explore.
