Fourth of July is almost here! We’re only a few days away from the annual Fourth of July celebration. Get out your sparklers and watch the night sky light up with your friends and family. If you haven’t decided where you will be this year we’ve put together a list of firework shows that will be going on near the Midland and Auburn Hills, Michigan area. Don’t miss out on a good show because you aren’t sure where to go! Check out these fireworks shows in your area.
Midland Fourth of July Celebration
When: July 4th, 2015
Where: Chippewasse Park in Midland, MI
Join Midland parks and recreation for a celebration full of music, food and fireworks! Starting at 5:30 pm there will be an opening performance by “The Organization” Band, followed by the headlining band “CEYX”. Fireworks will begin at 10:15 pm so bring your lawn chairs and sit back and enjoy the show. For saftey reason personal fireworks, firecrackers and sparklers are prohibited in the city parks.
Sanford Lake Park
When: July 4th, 2015
Where: Community of Christ Campground 3500 River Road in Sanford, MI 48878
This firework show is launched at the Community of Christ Campground which is located 1.5 miles north of US 10. It will be located on the west side of the lake so if you plan on taking your boat out, they recommend that you get there a little early. Fireworks will start at approximately 10:00 pm.
Big Bang Fireworks
When: July 4th, 2015
Where: Southern Maceday Lake in Waterford, MI 48329asr
Head off to Maceday Lake for the Big Bang Fireworks show on July 4th. Residents living around Maceday Lake and Lotus Lake will be able to watch the firework show which starts at dusk. If the show gets rained out, plan on July 5th for the date. You might want to get there a little early to get a good spot!
Bay City Fireworks Festival
When: July 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2015
Where: Wenonah Park 801 N Water Street in Bay City, MI 48708
Celebrate the Fourth of July with a grand firework show at Wenonah Park. The 3 day event not only includes a spectacular firework show but a carnival midway, as well as dozens of vendors at the entrance to the carnival. Admission is $1 for Veterans Memorial Park and $5 daily admission for Wenona Park.
